Each year group from Year 1 upwards is part of a "key stage" which shares curriculum planning. The planning spans a two-year cycle so that each year group accesses both part A and part B during their time in that key stage.

Year 1 and Year 2 = Key Stage 1

Year 3 and Year 4 = Lower Key Stage 2

Year 5 and Year 6 = Upper Key Stage 2
