Vision

Our vision for Science is to inspire a love for lifelong learning and interest in science. Our high-quality science curriculum fosters children's natural curiosity and wonder about the world around them by asking questions, making observations and exploring their environment. Our goal is to provide a science curriculum that develops the fundamental science concepts through experimental learning and practical experiments whilst embedding the skills and knowledge of science as a discipline.

Intent

• For pupils to remember key scientific facts from the three science disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Develop an understanding of how scientists approach making sense of the world around them
• For pupils to develop skills to work scientifically
